- Identify, prospect, and secure new municipal clients to expand our portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with local government agencies, municipal stakeholders, and public sector partners.
- Collaborate with the business development team to create compelling proposals, presentations, and strategies that win municipal contracts.
- Attend and represent the company at industry events, conferences, and local government meetings to network with potential clients.
- Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain top engineering talent, including outreach to professional networks and local engineering programs.
- Participate in recruiting processes, including interviewing candidates, evaluating technical and cultural fit, and supporting onboarding.
- Cultivate a positive team environment with a focus on mentorship, career development, and employee satisfaction.
- Lead multiple municipal projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies to ensure efficient delivery.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet client needs and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all municipal projects adhere to applicable local, state, and federal guidelines and safety standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams, facilitating clear communication and resolving project issues promptly.
- Work closely with the firm's leadership to align client acquisition goals with overall business strategy.
- Provide regular reports on project status, client acquisition progress, and team performance to senior management.

- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of project management experience in the municipal engineering field, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of municipal project standards, permitting processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Business Development Acumen: Proven track record of acquiring municipal clients and successfully managing client relationships.
- Leadership Skills: Strong experience in team building, mentoring, and talent acquisition; demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively.
- Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and negotiate effectively.
