- Assisting with process improvement.
- Managing multiple projects with overlapping tasks and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Providing support and assistance to co-workers as appropriate.
- Enrollment in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree related to the internship (required)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (required)
- Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
- Candidates should possess strong engineering and computer skills with the ability to learn new systems. Experience using 3D Cad software like Solidworks is a plus.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, mechanics, and heat transfer is a must
- Skill -- Knowledge of the practical application of mechanical engineering science and technology
- Creativity and innovation essential to meet customer requirements and to improve performance, quality and cost
- Work under the direction of a lead Engineer or Engineering Manager
- Gain trouble shooting techniques and solve defined engineering problems under guidance
- Produce clear and concise verbal and written communication, test report
