My client is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities at their facility in the New Hampshire / Massachusetts border region. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on furnace systems, preventive maintenance strategy, and supporting innovative trials within an industrial metals environment.Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day maintenance operations for melting, holding, and casting furnace systems.
Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate contractors.
Ensure safety compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and local environmental standards.
Support projects by installing and commissioning new systems, sensors, and automation upgrades.
Oversee equipment upgrades, retrofits, and capital projects.
Track and improve reliability KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, downtime, energy use).

5-10 years of industrial maintenance experience in metals, foundry, or heavy manufacturing.
2+ years in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role.
Background in furnace systems (ferrous or non-ferrous) strongly preferred.
Proficiency with CMMS (SAP, Maximo, or similar).
Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and environmental compliance standards.
Flexible and collaborative mindset to support technology-driven operations.
