Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob DescriptionThis role involves filling prescription vials with pills and capsules primarily, and occasionally with liquids. You will use a computer to read prescription requirements, scan vials and labels, replenish automated fill machines with drugs, and process shipping orders. This position does not involve phone calls or phone issues.Responsibilities
Fill prescription vials with pills, capsules, and occasionally liquids.
Use computer systems to read and interpret prescription requirements.
Scan vials and labels for accuracy.
Replenish automated fill machines with necessary medications.
Process shipping orders efficiently.
Meet line quota which varies between 100-150 vials per hour or 365 vials per hour depending on the line.
Essential Skills
Pharmacy Technician License
Experience in pharmacy, preferably retail pharmacy.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Indiana Pharmacy Technician License, open to candidates currently in training.
Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a non-customer facing, highly automated facility. Employees enjoy two 15-minute paid breaks and overtime is rarely denied for those who want it. Once permanent, employees receive 40 hours of emergency PTO, 88 hours of scheduled PTO, and 5 floating holidays.Two shifts are available:1st Shift runs Monday from 9:00am-7:30pm, Tuesday-Friday from 10:00am-7:30pm, and Saturday from 11:00am-8:30pm.2nd Shift runs Monday from 1:00pm-11:30pm, Tuesday-Friday from 2:00pm-11:00pm, and Saturday from 11:00am-8:30pm.Each week you work a Saturday, you will have a rotating weekday off. Mondays are typically the busiest days with a 10.5-hour shift, while other days are approximately 8.5 hours with a 30-minute lunch. The facility is climate-controlled, casual dress is permitted, and employees can listen to headphones during their shifts in this fast-paced automated fill pharmacy environment.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.95 - $18.95/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
