- Administering medications and monitoring vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.
- Evaluating medical complaints and concerns from residents, effectively communicating with our Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans, providing direct care and nursing services as prescribed.
- Monitoring chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures, ensuring timely interventions.
- Maintaining comprehensive medical records and logs, adhering to all mandated reporting and infection control protocols.
- Collaborating with Care Coordinators regarding medication management and refills.
- Participating in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, contributing your expertise to enhance patient care.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Nursing Degree;
- Licensure: Current LPN/LVN licensure with the California State Board of Nursing is a must.
- Experience: Ideally, you bring previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with adolescents and/or young adults
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to make sound judgment calls in high-pressure scenarios.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
