- The job duties will include preparing meals for the client (husband & wife) and their guests
- Handle all foods delicately and mindfully throughout the whole process (shopping, packaging, transporting, unpacking, storing, washing, prepping and cooking) to ensure the best quality.
- Oversee the kitchen Assistant including eventual special events or seasonal cooks, delegating tasks and providing training.
- Maintain best kitchen cleanliness and sanitation practices and standards, adhering to food safety laws and regulations.
- Manage food inventory by monitoring food stock levels, continually writing down what is needed (shopping list).
- Working closely with the butler team
- The candidates to hire will need to have the ability to travel domestically if needed Qualifications:
- Preference for Japanese cuisine cooking skillset Requirements:
- The candidate to hire must have the ability to work independently and with a large culinary team
- Must have a teamwork mindset and be humble and easy to get along with others in the fully staffed kitchen and home
- Proven experience in a high-end culinary environment with strong cooking skills across various cuisines
- Candidate should have minimal 10 years at the executive chef level in coveted hotels or restaurants and 5 years as private chef Salary and Benefits:
- $150k-200k DOE
