Our client delivers first-choice capabilities to solve problems of global importance.OVERVIEWFull-time/Permanent EmployeeLocation: Beavercreek, OH​In this position, you will provide assistance with migrating legacy modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) tools, algorithms, applications, and processes pertaining to missile performance analyses into a cloud-native Digital Engineering (DE) pipeline in a phased approach. The primary phase involves creating, updating, and refactoring model-based systems engineering (MBSE) models and libraries representing a full end to-end missile model; the models must be created in SysML. Also, elements of the SysML minimally include requirements (e.g. CEP), structures (e.g. mass moments of inertia), and parametric characteristics (e.g. specific impulse).The proposed salary range for this position is $90,525-$140,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.   • Scoping the effort of hosting a single missile model in SysML using existing engineering data analyses with our customers' subject matter experts.
  • Creating a scalable workflow for generating new missile models in SysML.
  • Applying and testing that scalable workflow on a single missile model.
  • Constructively working with our customers to optimize the SysML model development workflow.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Clearance: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
  • Education:Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics or related field.
  • Years of Experience: 3 to 8 years of experience in systems engineering or related experience.
  • Proven experience applying model-based systems engineering to aerospace, mechanical or related engineering fields.
  • Creating MBSE models via the Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or other MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw).
  • Having an MBSE certification and training (e.g. OMG, INCOSE, etc.).
  • Ability to work with a diverse team of engineers to identify modelling requirements.
  • Demonstrated conscientious and collaborative work habits to help our customers adopt MBSE for missile performance analyses.
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5 or more years of experience applying SysML for aerospace engineering applications such as the design of rocket propulsion systems, phased array antenna sensor systems, etc.
