No job is too small to tackle…and no team success is too small to celebrate.ResponsibilitiesBuilding TalentAssist management efforts to recruit and develop an engaged, sales-driven teamEnsure team members receive consistent coaching and growth opportunities and support career pathingConduct new hire onboarding training and development sessionsSupport/assist in performance reviews and employee feedback sessionsHelp resolve staff conflicts and drive workplace engagement and motivation within the storeBuilding Service StandardsSupervise daily store operations to ensure service standards are met (& surpass expectations)Seek and communication customer feedback regarding school and home use of productsBuild a unique and lasting relationship with customersAssist in developing and implementing customer service programs and recognitionMonitor staff interactions with customers and provide feedbackBuilding Revenue and Operational ExcellenceAbility to analyze sales data, inventory levels and market trendsAttention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting and inventory managementAssist in maximizing sales and store profitability while effectively managing controllable expensesMaintain visual presentation of merchandise/signage and ensure store displays are aligned with sales goalsMaintain company expectations regarding retail policies and procedures, including store cleanliness and safety standardsOwn development of employee schedules to ensure optimal staffing and communicate schedules effectivelySupport sales initiatives, promotional activities, and the retail store’s outreach programs to raise awareness and foster relationships that support Lakeshore’s goalsEssential Skills and AttributesPassion for providing excellent customer servicePositive and proactive approach to management and working as a teamExcellent communication and training skillsExceptional time management and organizational skillsAbility to demonstrate company standards and reinforce them with the entire teamStrong desire to recognize and reward achievements—big and smallCapacity to give regular and clear feedback to teamAbility to provide and receive constructive criticismCapacity to multitask to meet simultaneous demandsQualifications1-year related retail management experienceAbility to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekendsKnowledge of retail POS systemsPreferred experience with customer outreach and driving customer loyalty through brand awareness initiativesAdditional InformationAnd here’s our end of the bargain!
