- Constructing assemblies of final prototypes
- Designing and building prototype hardware under guidance from engineers
- Designing and building assembly fixtures and tooling
- Assisting the preparation of schematics, drawings, and specifications
- Designing and building test fixtures
- Testing and troubleshooting RF circuits
- Conducting tests, recoding data, and summarizing results
- Providing input for design reviews, proposals, and specifications
- Developing build procedures, processes, and training to help transition developed designs into production
- Using laboratory and test equipment such as vector network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, electrodynamic shaker tables, environmental chambers, amongst others
- Inventorying and inspecting parts for compliance with work instructions and other documentation
- Verifying dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- Gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials to prepare assembly work
- Assembling detailed parts, mechanisms, subsystems, and components into an end product following work instructions
- Aligning, fitting, and assembling parts using hand tools and fixtures
- Resolving assembly problems and notifying the Quality Assurance team of known issues
- Complying with procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Anticipating needed supplies and submitting requests for additional supplies from Production Planners
- Documenting actions by completing production travelers and reworking travelers as required
- General cleaning and organization of laboratories and other workspaces
- Maintaining equipment and facilities
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks

- High motivation and attention to detail
- Ability to read and work from schematics, engineering drawings, wiring lists, sketches, wiring connection lists, and other information and documentations
- Experience working with test and measurement equipment (e.g. multi-meters, scales, torque wrenches)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to learn and complete training quickly
- Knowledge of proper use of standard hand tools
- Knowledge of environmental test operations and equipment
- Knowledge of RF test equipment and operation
- Usage and knowledge of soldering circuit boards
- Usage and knowledge of adhesives and bonding materials
- Usage and knowledge of cable harness fabrication and repair
- Knowledge of forklift operations, lifting, and handling
- Knowledge in standard Electro-Statis Discharge (ESD) practices
