Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 4-6 years of experience in applications support or production environment required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Hands on experience in providing application support (L1/L2 level support). Programming Language - Mainframe and distributed COBOL, Python, Java. Focus on maintaining programs and analyzing current processing for help desk inquiries as well as determining issue fixes. Knowledge of SQL, DB2 stored procedure. With increased focus on mainframe integration with other technologies such as CICS web services, MQ series etc. Hands on experience in any one of the scheduler tools CA7/OPC/ESP, Control M. Databases: DB2, VSAM, Oracle File transfer - NDM, Connect direct, secure FTP etc.
