IntroductionJoin our dynamic team as a Data Engineer in Chandler, AZ, where you will be part of a contingent resource assignment. In this role, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering. You will contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables and collaborate with client personnel to meet project requirements.Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering or equivalent, demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
Proficiency in building data pipelines using big-data stack technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, pySpark, and Python.
Experience with Amazon AWS S3, including object storage, security, and data service integration.
Strong skills in data modeling and database design.
Proficiency in job scheduling using Autosys.
Experience with PowerBI and Dremio.
Proficiency in Unix/shell scripting and CICD pipeline.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Exposure to GCP cloud data engineering.
Financial services experience or domain knowledge.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Model and design data, build pipelines, and apply logic to transform and troubleshoot data.
Collaborate with lead engineers and participate in technical assessments and problem-solving sessions.
Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
