- Recruitment, Hiring, and Onboarding:
- Oversee onboarding including training schedules, Relias training, in collaboration with the Residential Manager.
- Personnel:
- Serve as a leader on the Residential Leadership Team,
- Oversee and monitor compliance with the Relias Training Platform in collaboration with Human Resources,
- Provide monthly compliance reports regarding staff training to Residential Managers.
- Licensing and Compliance:
- Develop a thorough understanding of DDS CLA regulations, service definitions, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain a licensing system for each group home and act as a liaison with DDS regarding e-licensing and QSR inspections.
- Submit DDS licensing packets and conduct pre-inspection audits.
- Prompt managers to complete e-scores
- Coordinate and submit plans of correction as needed.
- Participate in home inspections and review T-Logs to provide feedback.
- Track and submit monthly DDS Day Program attendance data.
- Quality Assurance:
- Complete quarterly audits for each home focusing on key areas (Health & Safety, Personal Achievement, Physical Plant, Staffing).
- Periodic reviews of Therap and ensure compliance with DDS policies
- In collaboration with the residential Division Director, ensures consistency across all Benhaven CLA homes.
- Day Services
- Provide strategic direction to all people receiving day services through Benhaven in our residential division,
- Ensure our day services are person center,
- People receiving day services are leading meaningful and purposeful lives through values and preferred activities,
- Our employment and day services are meeting with requirements authorized by DDS,
- Develop day staff – hiring, developing schedules, training etc.,
- Ensure there is a clear understanding and division between day services and residential services,
- Plan and implement recommendations made in the day services analysis,
- Work closely with Residential Managers to implement days services and structures,
- Continuously work on staying on top of cutting-edge services in day services,
- Attend regular meetings with the CEO and Residential Division Director.
- Proven experience in the residential and employment/day services,
- Has a strong understanding of DDS regulations, standards, policy, and practices.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Relias Training Platform and other relevant software is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing personnel and compliance.
