The Marketing Technology Specialist assists in the strategic and technical development, execution and measurement of digital initiatives related to access/self-service, CRM and marketing automation initiatives across CHOP's digital properties including, but not limited to online appointments, web sites (i.e. CHOP.edu), mobile applications and MyCHOP patient portal. The specialist should be a highly organized, creative and an analytic problem solver. This role partners closely with others within the Marketing/PR/Digital organization as well as stakeholders across the institution including clinical operations, DTS, Digital Health, and Access Center, and reports to the Senior Manager of Digital Experience & Marketing Technology.What you will do
  • Participate in the gathering, tracking and evaluation of product development and enhancement requests from MPR team and broader stakeholders.
  • Conduct analysis work to understand and fine-tune user and system requirements.
  • Create acceptance criteria for product/site features and user stories.
  • Assist testing team to ensure requirements are easily understood and identify comprehensive testing scenarios.
  • Deconstruct information gathered into details including sources of data, data types, users, user types, interface components, interface navigation needs, reporting needs, and administrative system needs.
  • Assist in the development and mapping of taxonomies of providers, conditions and treatments in support of provider search/ directory
  • Map user and system workflows.
  • Work collaboratively with team to develop designs, mock ups and prototypes.
  • Actively participate in or lead workshops to define user needs, pain points, user journeys, how users interface with systems, etc.
  • Research industry best practices; collect and analyze data; draw appropriate conclusions and recommendations; present results in written reports or through oral presentations using visual aids.
  • Partner with project manager as needed to track multiple workstreams and provide status updates.
Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Computer Science, Marketing or related discipline Required
  • Master's Degree Preferred
Experience Qualifications
  • At least five (5) years of experience Required
  • Agency experience Preferred
Skills and Abilities
  • Familiarity with a CRM system such as Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with patient portals such as MyChart.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, Personalization and Data Studio Preferred.
  • SQL and experience with databases Preferred
  • Ability to partner with both technical and non-technical colleagues throughout the institution.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Experience working with Agile or other project management methodologies.
  • Prior experience working in the healthcare industry, particularly in is a plus.
  • Strong background in clinical healthcare technologies and processes.
  • Attention to detail while simultaneously keeping the big-picture view in mind.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
