- Must be at least 21 years old, possess a clean driving record, and be able to pass the required DOT physical.
- Capable of regularly loading and unloading large tool crates, heavy chains, and field equipment (training provided to identify tools by name, location, and function).
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on responsiveness and professionalism.
- Proficient using computers for tasks such as email communication and data entry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to repair tools; familiarity with tool usage, assembly, and operation is preferred.
- Prior experience in a toolroom or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Willingness to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
- Ability to operate a forklift and obtain certification (training provided if necessary).
- Forklift certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire (training provided by Jamar).
- Must possess or obtain a valid DOT health card within 30 days (provided by Jamar) and maintain it throughout employment.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred.
- Inspect incoming tools for damage or wear; determine repairability and perform necessary repairs. Clean and return tools to inventory in ready-to-use condition.
- Collaborate with the department manager to identify and process tool replacements, including returning damaged tools under warranty.
- Accurately fulfill tool and equipment orders based on provided lists, ensuring completeness and timely delivery.
- Deliver tools and equipment to job sites as needed, maintaining punctuality and professionalism.
- Support fleet vehicle check-in and check-out processes as directed by management.
- Complete purchase orders and related documentation accurately, following department and company standards.
- Assist in maintaining the safety and security of the building and surrounding grounds.
- Respond to maintenance requests and perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, trash and recycling management, and upkeep of walkways and entrances.
- Handle internal office requests, including replacing light bulbs, stocking cleaning supplies, and coordinating with building service vendors to ensure supply availability.
- Receive incoming freight, notify relevant departments, and store materials appropriately.
- Prepare outgoing shipments using proper packaging techniques and best practices.
- Provide delivery and driving support for tools, equipment, and products to internal teams and job sites.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and company operations.
