Job Description:Role Summary/Purpose:Synchrony continues to build a world class digital bank – with smart savings products and capabilities that help consumers prepare for their futures.The VP, Consumer Bank - Strategic Initiatives will oversee cross-functional strategic projects for the Consumer Bank from concept to delivery. You will act as the bridge between product, design, engineering and end-users, collaborating closely across Agile Release Trains (ARTs), supporting business functions, and technology. Occasionally you may be required to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events.Essential Responsibilities:Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, RTE, STE and architects to gather business requirementsTransform gathered requirements into well-defined epics that align with the strategic objectivesFacilitate smooth handoff of epics to product managers for features and user story developmentContinuously refine and groom epics to ensure they remain relevant, detailed and aligned with evolving business needsManage end-to-end project lifecycles in SaFE Agile Framework, coordinating with Operations, Marketing and ComplianceLead pilot testing phases and user feedback to improve customer usabilityEnsure solutions meet quality standards and regulatory requirementsMaintain clear project documentation, including roadmaps, test plans and feedback reportsProactively identify and track risks, roadblocks, decisions and opportunities related to solution deliveryRegularly communicate the status of key initiatives to business stakeholdersPerform other duties and/or special projects as assignedQualifications/Requirements:Bachelors degree in business related field or in lieu of degree, minimum 12 years of equivalent experienceMinimum 7 years of financial services experience, including direct experience in three or more of the below.Strategic initiativesConsumer banking productsDigital transformationLeading large-scale programs/solutionsManaging cross-functional projects in a scaled agile environmentDesired Characteristics:3+ years of Consumer Banking ExperienceCertifications in SAFe, Agile, Program Management, Product Management, and/or Product OwnershipDemonstrated success delivering end-to-end solutionsExceptional communication, stakeholder management/influencing skills across tech/businessProficiency in solution/program management tools and frameworks (Jira, Confluence, SAFe toolchains, etc.)Strong analytical skills with experience developing data-centric recommendationsSkilled at managing multiple priorities through cross-team collaboration in an agile environmentHigh emotional intelligenceExecutive presentation skills with the ability to synthesize complex informationGrade/Level: 13The salary range for this position is 130,000.00 - 210,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.Eligibility Requirements:You must be 18 years or olderYou must have a high school diploma or equivalentYou must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding processYou must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.
