George Fox University's College of Nursing announces the development of DNP programs, including Certified Nurse Midwifery (CNM) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) programs. The College of Nursing is seeking candidates for an Operations Manager of Clinical Experiences for the CNM and PMHNP programs. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic and efficient management of all operational and administrative functions supporting the clinical experience components of these growing programs, encompassing program compliance, clinical onboarding, and the overall logistical coordination of student placements. You will lead the development and implementation of efficient clinical onboarding processes for students, working collaboratively with clinical sites, faculty, and students to guarantee a smooth and effective start to their placements. Your primary focus will be on optimizing the logistical and organizational framework of the clinical experience, fostering strong communication and problem-solving across all stakeholders to ensure high-quality and impactful learning opportunities.This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and proactive leader with a strong background in operations management, process improvement, and project coordination. Experience in regulated environments or managing complex logistical processes is highly valued. You will directly contribute to the success of these critical graduate nursing programs by ensuring the seamless, compliant, and well-coordinated execution of their clinical education components.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing, implementing, and managing all health and safety compliance systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with OHA, OSBN, COA, CCNE, and clinical partners.
  • Developing and managing credentialing processes and onboarding of students and faculty.
  • Managing students' competency tracking records.
  • Analyzing and resolving complex issues and developing process improvement.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of policies and processes related to College of Nursing's clinical programs and services.
  • Analyzing data and developing reports for clinical partners, state and national regulatory/accrediting bodies related to clinical compliance and clinical placement.
  • Using multiple technical applications, including word processing, database management, spreadsheets, graphics, presentation software, electronic calendars, email, etc
  • Prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously, and providing follow-through on issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and evaluating results of compliance documents.
  • Maintaining accurate historical records of student and faculty clinical placement.
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the College of Nursing.
  • Communicating effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect, and customer service.
  • By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.
  • Demonstrating awareness, respect, and appreciation for diversity of culture, background, race, sex, political views, expressions of faith, etc., and works well with a variety of people.

  • The ability to work independently on projects and produce exemplary work.
  • A minimum of five years administrative operations or project management experience.
  • The ability to demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
