- Operates various cleaning equipment such as polishers, buffers, and carpet cleaners. Completely strips, wax, and buff various floor areas when scheduled.
- Cleans Member and Employee bathrooms and locker rooms. Cleans basins, mirrors, commodes, showers, floors, walls, doors, and baseboards.
- Promotes sanitary conditions which prevent the spread of infection and odors through washing, cleaning, and the replacement of equipment. Must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, and moving objects and materials or clean up of infectious materials. Uses all safety precautions and PPE.
- Handles various cleaning supplies, chemicals, and solvents. Responsible for safe, orderly storage and use of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment. Maintains equipment and uses basic preventative maintenance and reports all needed repairs to the Executive Housekeeper.
- Excellent communication skills and capable of building trusting relationships.
- At least one year of related experience, preferred.
- CPR/AED Certified, preferred.
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred in a Country Club or hospitality environment.
- Well organized, dependable individual who is able to work independently or in a team environment in order to accomplish all goals and tasks.
- Must have a flexible schedule including a variety of day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently lift, carries, or otherwise moves positions and objects weight up to 40 pounds.
