Involved in analysis of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual varianceanalysis, including profitability analysis and expense analysis. Leads cross-functional reviews ofbusiness segments that drive action. Develops strategies to advance the goals of the departmentand company.The Sr. Financial Analyst should be forward-looking, driving improvements and profitability, not justreporting on past performance. This is a highly visible and critical role that will work closely with allareas of the business including operations, sourcing, supply chain management, and sales.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must beable to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Manage annual profit plan (budget) across the enterprise.ooWork with various departments to compile sales, production, SG&A, and other budgets.Assist Controller in creation of new budget departments, divisions, segments.Compile monthly business segment P&L statements and other reporting.ooLead monthly segment reviews with cross-functional teams.Drive productivity and identify opportunities to improve profitability within segments.Financial AnalysisoPrimary accounting staff person to provide or supervise the completion of financialanalysis for various internal stakeholdersoEvaluation of weekly reporting distributed by other cross-function team members relatedto sales, gross margin, departmental breakdowns, and all other P/L related items.
Owner of standard costs across all enterprise locationsoWork with Systems Analyst and site leadership in the maintenance and improvement ofstandard costing system and primary liaison with internal stakeholders in disseminationof standard costing informationDevelop and maintain costing/quoting tools for all locations and support various sales functionsin quote development and review.
Primary contact for financial requests and support for OperationsHelps enforce and reinforce company policies and practices.Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructionsConforms with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipmentCould potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals.Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:
Reports to: Lincoln Industries ControllerQUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or abilityrequired. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levelsof education and experience required.Education and/or Experience:Expected: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration and 3-5 years relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred: 3-5 years of public accounting experience.
