Oak Grove: Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.JOB SUMMARYThe F&B Cashier will ensure consistent quality products, responsible for the preparation and sale of all food items per menu standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests
  • Greets guests approaching service area
  • Responsible for preparing and selling all food items on the menu and handling all cash transactions.
  • Responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of all food service equipment used to prepare and serve the menu items.
  • Must be able to operate all equipment in the stand.
  • Maintain current knowledge of daily menus and prices
  • Ensure proper stock of product and supplies needed for service
  • Responsible for opening and closing inventories.
  • Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests
  • Performs clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment.
  • Standing 8-10 Hours
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of concession stand operations.
  • Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
  • All internal and external guests must be treated in a manner to ensure complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed our guests’ expectations
  • Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company’s Service Standards
  • Able to interact with internal and external guests in a friendly/fast manner.
  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high pressure situations in an interruptive environment
  • Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Customer Service or Food & Beverage experience is preferred.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
