- Evaluate, test, and become a deep subject matter expert on internal and external AI tools and platforms.
- Build functional demos, proofs-of-concept, and exploratory code samples that bring AI use cases to life.
- Develop and maintain a "sandbox" environment where learners can safely experiment with AI tools.
- Stay on the cutting edge of AI trends, providing recommendations on new technologies worth exploring.
- Author clear, accurate technical documentation, "how-to" guides, and best practice articles for our AI platforms.
- Serve as the primary technical SME for the Learning Experience Partner, providing core technical content and expert validation for all learning materials.
- Create and maintain a library of technical assets, including code snippets, API guides, and architectural diagrams.
- Translate complex technical topics into clear, concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations and live demos to stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to executives.
- Act as a technical mentor and point of escalation for our AI Ambassador network, helping them solve problems and champion AI in their teams.
- Dedicated to working the hybrid model with 3 days onsite out of one of these offices: Austin, Texas; Salt Lake City, Utah; or Toronto, Canada.
- 5+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role like Solutions Engineering, Technical Evangelism, Developer Relations, or a senior role in a technical L&D team.
- Fluency in the modern AI landscape (LLMs, Generative AI, prompt engineering) and have hands-on experience with major AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Cloud AI, Hugging Face).
- Proficiency in writing code to build demos and connect systems (Python proficiency is strongly preferred), with an enjoyment for writing exploratory code to quickly test ideas and solutions.
- A demonstrated talent for demystifying complexity and the ability to clearly explain an API call to an engineer and the business value of that call to a marketing VP.
- A pragmatic problem-solving approach, equally comfortable troubleshooting a script and whiteboarding a solution with a product manager.
