- Manage structural engineering projects from conceptual design through construction completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule objectives are met.
- Lead internal design teams and coordinate with architects, clients, contractors, and other consultants.
- Perform and oversee structural analysis and design for buildings and structures using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood materials.
- Prepare and review construction documents, technical specifications, and engineering reports.
- Conduct site visits, perform field inspections, and provide construction phase support, including responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings.
- Act as primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong working relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support proposal development and participate in interviews and presentations for new business opportunities.
- Mentor and oversee junior staff and coordinate workload to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana and/or Kentucky; SE license preferred or the ability to obtain.
- Minimum 6–10 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 2–4 years managing projects.
- Proficient in structural analysis and design software (e.g., RISA, RAM, ETABS, Revit).
- In-depth knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, and TMS codes and standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including client-facing interactions and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
