RGI, established in 1908, has the distinction of being recognized as the largest privately held aggregate producer in the United States.We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.Rogers Group is currently seeking a motivated individual for the Senior Financial Analyst position in the Nashville, TN corporate office, reporting directly to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. This position is NOT REMOTE. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills. This candidate will also provide a high level of customer service and support to our Strategic Market Areas.Job Responsibilities:
  • Provides business planning and forecasting administration/analysis.
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial results.
  • Prepare and present clear and concise financial reports to senior management, effectively communicating financial information.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, providing insights into performance trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct analyses as requested by management.
  • Interacts internally with Corporate and Operations personnel and externally with consultants and accounting professionals.
  • Administrator of our planning system, IBM Planning Analytics.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Minimum 3-5 years total experience required.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications. Advanced Excel skills, database and strong presentation skills.
  • Experience working with IBM Planning Analytics, Oracle, and Power BI experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work well under pressure, and meets deadlines.
  • Firm understanding of financial statements.
