As a Mad Scientist, you will lead students through an inquiry-based discovery methods involving instructor demonstrations, hands-on activities, and amazing take-home projects that will illustrate how science affects the world around us. Mad Science is the world’s leading provider of fun science programs for elementary-aged children.Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1- hour after-school science enrichment programs using a pre-set, easy-to-understand curriculum.
  • Each session is high-energy. It’s part entertainment, part education, through a hands-on after-school class that meets for one hour each week for 6 or 8 weeks.
Schedule and Pay
  • You will be scheduled on programs close to home two or more afternoons per week.
  • Mileage reimbursement policy for any program over 25 mile round trip.
  • $40 for every 1.5 hour program.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children.
  • A reliable car.
  • Fun and outgoing personality!
  • Must be comfortable undergoing a background check.
  • Availability 2 or more afternoons per week between 2:30-5:30PM.
