- Training project personnel on Procurement Systems; tracking status of project deliverables and milestones.
- Troubleshooting user issues.
- Escalating issues as necessary to the corporate team.
- Preparing high-quality documentation for reporting and communication.
- Assists the project in defining and updating processes, standards and governance models.
- Maintains technologies and tools implemented for the project and assist with troubleshooting minor issues.
- Must be able to manage priorities and deliverables effectively.
- Create functional reports using multiple system interfaces.
- Gain an understanding of project requirements involved with the deployment of DSCS through a partnership with sponsors, managers, leads and project team members.
- Serve as a key resource in the training development and deployment of DSCS on the project.
- Collaborate with users to actively promote the benefits of the systems and provide techno-functional expertise to help build competencies.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive set of user documentation for both internal Bechtel users and external suppliers.
- Act as a subject matter expert of the newly-implemented business processes for Procurement and Contract organization.
- Provide support with issue investigation when needed from Projects and GBU's.
- Support to establish and maintain deployment, setup and configuration plans for the project.
- Deliver regular status reports and schedules to management as required.
- Work with both the Supply Chain Project team members and the lS&T Technical team members to communicate priorities of deployment activities, including coordination of production support critical issues.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management with accompanying Computer Information Systems coursework OR Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems/Software Engineering with accompanying Supply Chain Management coursework to include 5 years of related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, successful candidate must have 10+ years related work experience.
- Experience and capability to perform procurement related work including proposal support, bid/evaluate/award of POs, etc. with support from Project contracts & procurement managers.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Knowledgeable with Power BI.
- Able to aggregate multiple datasets to a single report for project management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of initiative and propensity toward being a self-starter.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
- Must possess the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, effectively.
- Proficient in all program phases of procurement including knowledge of and skill in communicating effectively with suppliers.
- Working knowledge of Engineering/Construction system interfaces.
- Consistency in follow up, attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Understands government processes and requirements and how they interact with the procurement system.
