
Supplier Data Quality Specialist

- Review supplier and ingredient documentation to ensure compliance with TreeHouse Foods’ standards, GFSI requirements, and customer expectations; communicate non-compliance issues to Quality & Food Safety Systems, R&D, Purchasing, and Manufacturing.
- Maintain the approved ingredient and supplier database, ensuring all vendor documents are filed, tracked, and updated electronically.
- Perform routine searches to identify expired or soon-to-expire documents; request and track renewals from suppliers.
- Conduct ingredient and supplier data searches in response to customer inquiries, recalls, audits, allergen information needs, or country-of-origin requests.
- Partner with ingredient buyers to maintain accurate and current supplier contact listings.
- Support Plant QA Managers by providing reports that help determine vendor visits or audits and supply plant teams with necessary documentation for SQF, BRC, and other food safety audits.
- Generate reports and provide documentation to internal stakeholders as needed for compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving supplier quality, food safety programs, and regulatory readiness.
- All other duties as assigned.
- This is a full-time, hybrid role on first shift.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- One to three years of experience in quality, supplier management, or documentation control within a food manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Familiarity with food safety and quality systems (GMP, HACCP, GFSI, SQF, BRC) and regulatory guidelines (FDA, USDA) preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-based systems; experience with supplier management or ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to understand and work with technical food safety documentation and terminology.
- PCQI certification preferred.
