  • Utilizes principles and skills in communication and interviewing techniques in obtaining a comprehensive health history to formulate a plan of care and make decisions for appropriate therapeutic interventions
  • Uses principles and skills in advanced health assessment for differentiating normal and abnormal findings.
  • Synthesizes knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, culture, and socioeconomics to access, evaluate, and provide therapeutic interventions to patients.
  • Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to improve care processes in order to promote continuity of care.
  • Performs specialty specific technical procedures safely and proficiently.
  • Produces documentation that initiates, follows, and revises patients' plan of care
  • Focuses on adherence to clinical pathways, protocols, and policies to ensure high reliability of clinical program.
  • Promotes population health through the evaluation of care delivery models as they pertain to community, environmental, cultural and socio-economical dimensions of health.
  • Prepares, cleans and sterilizes instruments and maintains equipment, disposing of contaminated items according to protocol. Keeps patient exam rooms stocked, clean and orderly.
  • Demonstrates contribution to unit based programs and research strategies to monitor and continuously improve the quality of patient care.
  • Assist in the identification of ineffective and costly processes and take actions to improve those processes
  • Works in partnerships with peers and other disciplines.
  • Adapts to changes in workload assignments to meet changing needs of the individuals, patient, or the unit

  • Identifies realistic and measurable annual goals for advanced professional nursing development
  • Complies with THR Human Resource Policies: Attendance, Dress Code
  • Works with unit leaders and hospital leadership to meet compliance and business needs
  • Recognizes and communicates ethical and legal concerns through established channels of communications

Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Req And
Master's Degree Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program Req
