We champion core technology applications and services through testing, piloting and early life support considering process improvement opportunities, and new and innovative ways to get feedback and act on it.About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Mobile Device Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of mobile phones and iPads, including deployment, support, and coordination with internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mobile device technologies, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure seamless service delivery.Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Deploy, configure, and support mobile phones and iPads for employees across the organization.
  • Manage inventory, asset tracking, and lifecycle processes for all cellular devices.
  • Partner with internal teams including Internet Mobile Engineers, Billing Account Managers, and CX support teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison with cellular carriers and external partners to manage service plans, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate escalations.
  • Maintain accurate records of device assignments, returns, and replacements.
  • Support mobile-related projects, including device refreshes, policy updates, and technology rollouts.
  • Contribute to process improvements and documentation related to mobile device management.
  • Provide end-user support and training as needed.
Requirements for the Role:
  • 2+ years of experience in mobile device support, IT support, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of iOS devices, MDM platforms (e.g., Intune, JAMF), and mobile carrier services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service.
Additional Requirements for the Role:
  • Experience with enterprise mobile deployments and asset management tools.
  • Familiarity with billing reconciliation and mobile usage reporting.
  • Knowledge of SMS Archiving and Smarsh
  • Previous experience in a hybrid work environment.
