Responsible for developing cutting edge GIS products for various industries in a high energy agile product development environment.JOB DUTIES:
  • Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable GIS products
  • Support the design of technical project specifications for the implementation of application software projects and database development projects
  • Support the day-to-day technical activities of the project team, and ensure that standard system methodologies are employed
  • Perform detailed software design and detailed database conversion design
  • Build architecture and code products for two-week sprints
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, and contribute through ideas and speak up to remove obstacles
  • Participate in sprint planning, grooming with the direction of Product Owner/Scrum Master
  • Research and bring new development ideas/concepts to the table
  • Present completed work to stake-holders and product owners during Sprint Review
  • Conduct/Participate in interviews and meetings with stakeholders to understand and validate business value of technical requirements
  • Design and develop QA/QC programs and support design code reviews, database reviews, and other QA/QC activities throughout the project life cycle.
REQUIRED SKILLS/TOOLS: Experience with all of the following is required:
  • Javascript
  • ArcGIS Javascript API
  • Python scripting
  • Oracle Database
  • GIS data management
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:U.S. Master of Science degree or foreign academic equivalent degree in Geography, Geomatics, Computer Science or related field plus two (2) years of relevant, progressive experience is required. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training & experience is acceptable.Pay Rate: $187,741 - $190,000 per year
