OverviewAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting a psychiatrist to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Robley Rex VA Medical Center located at 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206. This is a 1099 position and the schedule is typically weekends and holidays 0800-1600. Provide direct psychiatric care to VA-eligible patients including:
Outpatient services: evaluations, referrals, medication management, follow-up care
Emergency psychiatric coverage during weekends and holidays (0800–1600)
Case documentation within VA’s Electronic Health Record (CPRS/Vista)
Collaborate with other VA providers for:
Peer reviews, patient safety reporting, and ethical compliance
Participation in call schedules and performance audits
Timely completion of reports, encounter data, and medical notes
Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement reviews
Follow VA policies regarding patient privacy, HIPAA, and documentation
Report incidents in the VA Patient Safety Reporting System within 24 hours
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
Active AHA BLS and ACLS
NPI report printout
Active DEA license
Must be able to pass a federal background investigation
All candidates must be able to:
Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
Lift up to 20 lbs
Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
