This approach enhances creativity, innovation, communication, and relationship-building, fostering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.Job DescriptionThe Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in enabling Chamberlain to continue to realize its growth ambitions and deliver on its mission at scale. This will include financial analysis and business development support for Chamberlain's new and existing business footprint. The Senior Financial Analyst will also be responsible for ongoing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting supporting day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who wants to accelerate their professional development, values being part of a high-performing team, and has the agility to move between detail-oriented analysis and big-picture strategic thinking.The Senior Financial Analyst will report to Chamberlain's Director of Finance and regularly engage with Chamberlain's CFO. This role is based in Chicago and will align with Adtalem's hybrid work model and corresponding policies (current requirement is in office Monday-Thursday each week; option to work remotely on Friday).
- Play a critical role in preparing Chamberlain's annual budget and monthly forecasts
- Make recommendations to Chamberlain leadership which are informed by financial analysis and ongoing monitoring of business performance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for key stakeholders (e.g., Adtalem and Chamberlain boards, C-Suite, etc.)
- Provide analytical support for ad hoc projects including new business case analysis, capital investments, and operational efficiency reviews
- Collaborate closely with broader Chamberlain and Adtalem finance/accounting teams
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field required; master's degree and/or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or corporate finance required.
- Detail-oriented with inherent sense of pride in work product
- Strong experience in financial modeling and analysis; well-versed in P&L.
- Excellent team player and collaborator

- Advanced Excel skills; strong in PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet demanding deadlines
