As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations by monitoring communications, coordinating responses, and maintaining detailed records. Your responsibilities will include managing incoming calls, dispatching personnel to various areas as needed, and providing clear, professional communication to both team members and visitors. You will help to deter incidents by maintaining a strong presence in the control center and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security personnel and coordinate responses to incidents within the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all calls, incidents, and activities handled during the shift.
  • Communicate with on-site personnel to provide updates and instructions during routine operations and/or emergencies.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining awareness of all incoming and outgoing communications related to the location.
  • Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with mobile personnel and tracking their status throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
