Together, we form a community that cares.The Opportunity:We are hiring a full time/part time Retail + Floral Associate at our Oceanside location to help manage day to day operations, serve as a product expert and provide excellent customer service.Our ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative team environment, believes in the importance of creating a great customer experience, and will work to ensure every customer feels welcomed. If you have a background in retail and/or floral work, a strong work ethic & want to join a team for the long haul, we’d love to have you join our team! (Sorry, we don’t have any seasonal opportunities at this time.) Starting rate is $16.30 with a portion of the tip pool. A team member in this department can expect to make around $18-19/hour once training is complete.Responsibilities include:.
  • Models standards of excellence in customer service through direct interaction and handling customer complaints and issues.
  • Receives and stocks new product
  • Maintains standards of cleanliness, stocking floor and keeping back stock organized.
  • Assists merchandising team with new product & shop display.
  • Builds floral bouquets, arrangements and a la carte wedding items

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years experience in floral work and/or retail preferred
  • A strong background and emphasis on customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Point of Sale system(s).
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds above your head.
  • Job requires long hours on your feet.
