The global supply chain also includes cultured and wild species from a network of trusted sources worldwide.Summary: The Stockroom Clerk will receive, inventory, store, and restock merchandise in the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) parts room.Key Responsibilities:Takes Inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons or crates of merchandise.Checks purchase orders against items received.Cycle counts and provides documentation of discrepancies in inventory to superiors.Assists staff from other departments to locate and sign-out needed parts.Requisitions parts as needed via Infor EAM or currently utilized software.Identifies optimum sources for replacement parts and assemblies.Obtains quotes and approvals for nonroutine purchases.Helps with researching or finding parts for equipment.Works with maintenance planning in setting up Preventative Maintenance Kits for maintenance staff.Additional Responsibilities:Acquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.Performs all other duties as assigned.This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $20.67 to $22.12.Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. Commuter and transit programs are also available.Minimum Qualifications:A minimum of 1 year experience in Parts RoomHS Diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:2 years of experience in a food manufacturing parts room or storeroom.2 years of experience as a purchasing agent or clerkProficient with Microsoft Office SuitePhysical Demands:
