  • Provide security, safety, and protection for guests, employees, and property and company assets.
  • Manage security staff and personnel-related matters including but not limited to: interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, counseling, evaluating, and discharging.
  • Assume supervisory control of department in the absence of Security Manager.
  • Supervise, perform and respond to normal or emergency duties requiring moderate to strenuous physical exertion.
  • Assist security officers with assigned duties when necessary.
  • Direct and coordinate the actions of security personnel and other involved employees during emergencies.
  • Review the actions, incident reports and performance of personnel assigned to their supervision.
  • Ensure personnel assigned follow and equally and fairly enforce approved procedures and policy.
  • Recommend to the Manager matters requiring investigation, and perform investigations assigned by the Manager.
  • Provide coordination between property and police, fire and medical personnel.
  • Approve detention of all suspects made by personnel under their supervision.
  • Ensure that all reports and legal paperwork are properly prepared and filed by officers assigned to their supervision.
  • Respond to all major crimes, incidents, unusual occurrences, in addition to the assigned security officer.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must meet requirements of a Security Officer.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of casino security (or similar field) experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
