
Quality Control Manager

- Understand and interpret various styles of electrical schematics
- Apply NFPA70 (NEC), NFPA79, UL 508a, and other specifications including customer requirements
- Inspect and test control panels according to procedures
- Collaborate with shop personnel to uphold quality standards
- Maintain photo documentation of panel builds
- Communicate technical issues to customers and internal teams for resolution
- Manage workload to meet schedule and delivery requirements
- Create testing procedures for new builds
- Maintain UL listing records and coordinate with UL inspector on audits
- Act as Manufacturer's Technical Representative (MTR) for UL compliance
- Provide direction and supervision to Quality Control Technicians
- Advanced knowledge of electrical schematics and panel design
- Expertise in electrical codes and standards (NFPA70, NFPA79, UL 508a)
- Quality management systems and continuous improvement
- Test procedure development and implementation
- UL compliance requirements and processes

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- 3 years of experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment
- 2 years of experience with electrical or control panel quality assurance
- Knowledge of UL compliance requirements
- Experience developing quality control procedures
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to lead quality initiatives
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Eagerness to learn and curiosity
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
- Effective communication skills in English

- Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands for inspection work
- May involve bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
