Required: Home Base - New Jersey or Pennsylvania
Territory: PA & NJ Territory - travel up to 25%Compensation & Benefits:
Our client offers a competitive $75k-$100k Base. Income expectations in first year are ~$110k-$145k, comprehensive benefits, PTO, matching 401k, Employee share ownership, professional development opportunities, etc.Job Summary: The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for the full sales cycle from prospect to close, driving sales growth by promoting our client's viscometry and rheometry instruments to biotech, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and universities.Minimum Qualifications
  • BA, MS, or Ph.D. in Engineering or Life Science preferred.
  • 2-5 years of customer-facing instrumentation or related industry sales experience.
  • Strong technical aptitude to quickly learn products and applications.
  • Proven experience in lead generation, negotiation, cross-selling, and closing.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers and build relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for product demonstrations.
  • Willingness to travel as needed with a valid driver's license.
Preferred Skills
  • Background in viscometry or rheometry.
  • Comfortable speaking and presenting in public.
Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and represent company products and services with enthusiasm.
  • Meet sales goals and KPIs within assigned territory (NJ/PA).
  • Manage and grow customer accounts, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.
  • Accurately forecast, track, and report monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue.
  • Identify and pursue new clients and market opportunities.
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date.
