- Installation, examination, inspect, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, facilities, PLC & PID controllers and pipe, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot any mechanical and or electrical problems using PLC, ladder diagrams, schematics, PID, etc.
- Cycle equipment or systems to ensure safe and correct operations, to be able to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Set up and safely operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drill presses, and milling machines to repair or fabricate parts as needed.
- Maintain maintenance areas in a clean and orderly fashion; keep the work area clean at all times.
- Operate a forklift and other heavy machinery whenever applicable after certification.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical. electrical, and software problems on machines and accessories.
- 5 plus years' experience, in mechanical, electrical troubleshooting, and maintenance of CNC & manual machines.
- Understanding of CNC equipment
- Extensive understanding of Programmable Logic Controls and contribute a unique skill set using preventative maintenance systems.
- Experience with PLC< troubleshooting complex machines, and reading electrical diagrams is a huge plus.
- Electro-mechanical experience with manufacturing equipment is highly preferred.
- Ability to operate a PC using company software.
- Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance when needed.
- Strong competency in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulics
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products.
- Ability to use powered industrial equipment such as Forklift, scissor lift, and pallet jack.
- Demonstrates the ability to write routine reports, and correspondence internally and externally.
- Strong Problem solving and reasoning skills.
- Strong mathematical skills a huge asset.
- Strong understanding of machine functions, equipment safety hazards, power sources, stored energy, pinch points.
- Basic welding skills to assist when the need arises.
