Please visit the to learn more about our program!The EDEP Assistant assists the Head Teacher and/or Teacher as necessary in support of the After-School program. Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assists the teacher with daily tasks;
- Instructs students in preplanned activities as required;
- Assists with any activity and special event as needed;
- Establishes and maintains cooperative professional relations with ASEP staff and school staff;
- Exhibits positive public relations;
- Upholds school rules, policies, and procedures;
- Prepares and distributes snacks as needed;
- Provides care for students in ALL EDEP venues (Student Holiday, Spring Break and Inclement Weather programs)
- Participates in EDEP programs (After School Program, Student Holiday, Spring Break and Inclement Weather programs) as assigned
- Maintains a safe work environment;
- Establishes and maintains high standards of behavior;
- Attends required and assigned training sessions;;
- Exhibits dependable work habits;
- Performs related duties as assigned.
