Innovation Boulevard Club Group LeaderInnovation Boulevard Club is a new community-based afterschool program held at Mt. Comfort Church. It is a 21st Century Community Learning Center program provided by Diversity and Innovation Institute. Innovation Boulevard Club will feature afterschool programming Monday through Friday. Goals of the program are to serve the community and provide working families with peace of mind, knowing their children are in a positive and caring setting. iBlvd Club aims to improve academic and social outcomes and increase family involvement in students' education.We are looking for a detail-oriented and focused Innovation Boulevard Club Group Leader to be responsible for supporting an after-school program at Mount Comfort Church. The Group Leader's responsibilities include supporting scheduled programming and students, among other duties.A successful Group Leader should report directly to the Site Coordinator, be able to communicate effectively and connect with constituents and students, and be passionate about the mission of the organization and supporting the community. You should uphold the values of our organization while ensuring the comfort of our team. This position requires travel within Central Indiana.RESPONSIBILITIESMentor high school studentsMaintain a positive classroom environment.Gather data about the students and program.Prepare and manage afternoon snack procedures, including ordering, delivery, and clean-upMaintain organized sign-in sheets for each groupKeep the school office neat and orderlyMaintain accurate and up-to-date staff and student files for licensingExecute and facilitate scheduled programmingMonitor building visitors and enforce safe school protocolsConsistently attend and arrive on time to work; ensure coverage when absentFollow all staff handbook protocols (e.g., dress code, appropriate language)LOCATION3179 N 600 W, Greenfield, IN 46140 (Mt. Comfort Church)WORK ENVIRONMENTGymOutdoor areasQUALIFICATIONSThe Innovation Boulevard Site Coordinator will be thoroughly committed to Diversity & Innovation Institute's mission. Key qualifications include:Higher Education Certification or degree in STEM, Education, Youth Development, Social Work or related fields.Experience with program coordination/management, supervision, education, teaching, and development preferred.Action-oriented, adaptable, proactive, and innovative approach to solve challenges.Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people, as well as independently.Must have experience working with children and parentsPrior experience in program coordination/management, supervision, education, or youth development preferredExperience working with diverse community populations (children, youth, adults) preferredExperience in grant writing, fundraising, or donor engagement is a plusStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated marketing experience and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders preferredAction-oriented, proactive, and adaptable with strong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSMust submit a valid physical exam certificate to ensure ability to perform job responsibilities safelyDiversity & Innovation Institute provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants and prohibits discrimination or harassment of any kind.
