- Assists with basic patient care related tasks such as ambulating patient, preparing patients for meals, feeding patients, removing food trays, grooming tasks, and making beds, with direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Makes contributions to the Patient's Plan of Care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Takes and records temperature, B/P, weight, height, and oral intake accurately.
- Transports patients, specimens, supplies and equipment to the correct service area in a safe manner.
- Distributes drinking water and nourishments to identified patients.
- Possess good interpersonal.
- Communicates well both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts as required.
- Demonstrates diplomacy interacting with staff, clients and the public.
- Demonstrates flexibility in meeting unanticipated demands and priorities.
- Able to perform in a crisis.
- Completed medical/surgical nursing class and pharmacology test from respective teaching institution.
