- Conduct literature reviews and environmental scans related to human services policy, evidence-based interventions, best practices, and emerging trends in housing stability, healthy living, financial stability, social engagement, and service system access and improvement.
- Summarize, synthesize, and present findings in clear, concise formats for staff and leadership, including memos, briefs, presentations, and knowledge-sharing tools.
- Track evolving federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and guidance relevant to ASD's programs and contracted investments.
- Support cross-team initiatives, including the development of internal standards, compliance tools, continuous improvement frameworks, and strategic planning documents.
- Assist in identifying, curating, and maintaining an inventory of evidence-based practices and model policies used to inform program and procurement design.
- Collaborate with the Performance, Measurement, and Evaluation team to align research findings with performance frameworks and indicators.
- Support internal work groups and staff trainings by preparing background research, landscape analyses, and annotated bibliographies.
- Participate in equity-focused research efforts and help identify and evaluate culturally responsive and community-driven practices.
- Support the ASD Division Director with special requests and special projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Completion of two years of formal education in public policy, social sciences, public health, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience conducting literature reviews, policy analysis, or research synthesis in an academic, nonprofit, or public-sector setting.
- One year of experience in human services programs or systems, such as housing, health, financial stability, or community resilience.
- Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple research projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and social justice, including an understanding of systemic inequities and how they affect communities served by ASD.
- Knowledge of research methods, program evaluation, or implementation science is desirable.
