A top CPA firm in the area is looking to add a Bookkeeper to their team. This stable and growing firm offers clients valuable knowledge and expertise in tax. Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is an opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join a team of highly motivated staff.Position Responsibilities:- Maintain financial records and documents such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements.- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.- Prepare and process payroll for employees.- Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.- Collaborate with the team to analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvements.Position Essential Job Functions:- Proficiently use accounting software and tools to accurately record and process financial transactions.- Perform data entry and ensure timely and accurate recording of financial information.- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve any accounting-related issues.- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.- Stay updated on accounting regulations and maintain compliance with industry standards.Qualifications Include:- 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping role.- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. * - Associates degree in Accounting.- Proficiency in using accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.).- Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
