Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
3 years of experience leading or managing multi-disciplinary engineering project teams.
Experience developing and tracking program plans/schedules and budgets for technical projects
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Project Management Professional Certification
Experience with proposal development and contract negotiations
Experience with Export Compliance or International programs
Experience developing and tracking program plans/schedules and budgets for technical projects
Project management experience in an engineering environment
Experience in engineering project planning or project management
Experience supporting weapons systems
Experience working directly with government customers
Experience collaborating across functions and organizations
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Provide engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas
Develop statements of work to satisfy research, development, and business requirements
Work with customers and management to obtain approval for project plans
Respond to changes in statements of work and negotiate modifications as needed
Lead project execution and identify performance metrics
Plan and coordinate resources required over the life of the project
Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunities
Compare actual results to baseline plans to assess performance and productivity
Provide technical, business, and integration leadership for project execution
