  • Facilitates response to a request for services, including the initial response, the assessment, and referral process, the designation of the appropriate level of care, admission into services, and appropriate follow up activity.
  • Conducts initial evaluation, initiates the assessment, documents patient symptomology, functioning, and needs and provides information to MD for LOC determination.
  • Ensures appropriate staffing for shift. Minimizes use of overtime. Assists in monitoring attendance.
  • Educates and coaches staff and acts as a point person for clinical decisions. Reports all issues and incidents to the Director of appropriately.
  • Ensures staff has completed all needed documentation, call logging, insurance calls, and additional tasks prior to the end of shift.

What we're looking for [Write out a lead in sentence with main qualification, then add other requirements as bullets] Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
  • Master's degree in social work or counseling required, RN licensure may be used in place of master's degree or per state regulations.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility working with adult and geriatric patients preferred. Must have strong clinical assessment skills.
  • License: Current unencumbered clinical social work, counseling license, or per state of practice guidelines.
