Troy Regional is seeking applicants for an Emergency Department Patient Care Technician. This position is full-time and includes a full benefits package to include health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, Retirement, PTO and more!The Emergency Department Technician will assists Emergency Room physicians and nurses with patient care based on individual patient needs under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. This position will perform a variety of duties such as patient transport, taking vitals, non-sterile dressings, EKG's and splint application as well as assisting with paperwork, faxing/filing and answering phones and greeting patients and visitors. The ED Technician will maintain adequate inventory supplies and equipment within the Emergency Department.Qualifications: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2. Previous experience in emergency/trauma preferred, but not required. 3. Have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and handle stress adequately. 4.
