Job Description: The Coordinator of Campus Programs & Traditions is responsible for cultivating a vibrant, inclusive, and student-led programming culture at Arcadia. This role champions community building through hallmark traditions, campus-wide events, and student-initiated engagement. This role is pivotal in welcoming and supporting new students through the transition to college life by leading dynamic orientation programs and storytelling-based marketing initiatives.Location: GlensideResponsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, and execution of all New Student Orientation programs, including Fall, Spring, and Transfer Orientation, in partnership with Enrollment Management and Student Success.
  • Serve as a co-supervisor for the Student Experience Leaders (SELs), developing their leadership and mentoring capacity through hands-on training and reflective learning.
  • Collaborate closely with Enrollment Marketing to develop a student-centered engagement marketing strategy, including digital storytelling, video and social campaigns, and outreach to prospective and new students.
  • Support and co-create extended orientation programming for First time full time freshman and Transfers
  • Act as a liaison between Campus Life and Enrollment Management to ensure alignment between student experience events and recruitment goals, including coordinating open houses, marketing and acting as lead for panels/discussions/needs
  • Co-Design and implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness and impact of orientation and first-year experience programs.
  • Manage the website, social media, mass campus email, and canvas communication for Student Engagement, including orientation
  • Lead all student programming efforts within Student Engagement, coordinating a diverse and engaging calendar of events that reflect student interests and community needs.
  • Lead coordination and implementation of Arcadia's hallmark traditions including Welcome Week & Signature student events
  • Oversee post-event assessments and evaluation processes in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Student Organization Development & Operations.
  • Supervise graduate assistants and Engagement Student experience leaders within programming event work
  • Co-advise the Programmers Council, supporting staff in the planning, execution, and assessment of programs.
  • Serve as staff advisor to the Student Engagement Board (SEB), fostering cross-departmental collaboration and student involvement.
  • Serve as The Primary Success Coach for students in the HOME Scholars Program, offering mentorship and guidance, planning Orientation, Move-in, HOME dinners and special events
  • Supervise graduate students in their work in the H.O.M.E Scholars Program
  • Co-Manage the sponsorship/donation pipeline for Engagement
