Politely greets and serves meals to all cafeteria customers; ensures food is placed on the serving line in a timely manner.
Cleans work area as necessary or assigned ensuring the dining area is kept clean after and during meal times.
Assists the cook and dietary supervisor in food preparation.
Cleans floor throughout the assigned facility
Removes trash and waste from designated areas of the facility
Cleans restrooms in assigned areas.
Removes and replaces soiled linens from designated patient care areas.
Maintains facility and furnishings in a clean, orderly fashion.
Understands the purposes and uses various chemicals and understands Safety Data Sheets.
Responsible for clean up and disposal of bio-hazardous materials.
Sets up and takes down rooms for special events.
Perform other duties as assigned/required by this position.
QualificationsQualifications: To excel in this role, you should have:
High School level reading and writing
Previous housekeeping or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
