We provide employees with free assistance navigating the PSLF program to submit their federal student loans for forgiveness.Why Us:· Panhandle Hospitality: Bring your warmth and kindness to our patients with a smile.· Close-Knit Team: Small community, big heart – where every team member makes a difference.· Meaningful Impact: Your dedication transforms lives and creates a supportive, caring environment.This individual will perform medical laboratory tests, procedures, and analysis to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.Responsibilities:· Perform venous and capillary phlebotomy according to department procedure.· Conduct analyses of body fluids such as blood, urine, and spinal fluid, to determine presence of normal and abnormal components.· Study blood cells, their numbers, and morphology. Perform blood group, type, and compatibility tests for transfusion purposes.· Analyze test results and accurately enter findings into computer.· Perform quality control studies to ensure accuracy of clinical data.· Perform routine preventative maintenance on assigned instruments and equipment according to established schedule and procedure.· Verify instrument functioning by checking and calibrating specific lab instruments and then document data.· Record instrument logs for any repairs, replacement, and needed maintenance of equipment.· Assist in writing policies and procedures necessary to perform tests.· Process patient samples to prepare for testing and shipping.· Assist in maintaining adequate inventory of supplies in all work/storage areas of Laboratory.· Other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:· Graduate from a four-year college or technical school with a Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree.· Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Society for Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) and/or the equivalent of a Medical Technologist.· May be trained and certified in DOT/Non-DOT drug collections and breath alcohols.· Prefer 1 year of related experience.· Must have a current driver's license.Benefits:· Generous paid time off.· Education reimbursement opportunities.· Growing 401(k) retirement program up to 5% company match.· Comprehensive dental, vision, disability, and accident insurance.· Insurance for critical illness, health, and life.Sidney Regional Medical Center is an EEO Employer/Vet/Disabled.
