We provide a positive work environment and are dedicated to helping our employees develop the skills needed to help build successful careers.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LOW VOLTAGE PROJECT MANAGERAs a Low Voltage Project Manager at Tribal One, you will routinely be challenged with new experiences and opportunities. We are in search of a low voltage project manager that will be responsible for the coordination and completion of assigned projects for construction and operation support projects. Project types include, but are not limited to, data installation, fiber installation, network design and installation, industrial controls installation, intrusion detection systems installation, communications network design and installation, security systems installation, management and coordination of general construction and recovery operations after natural and/or manmade disasters. Exemplary safety attitude and leadership skills are essential to success in this position.As a Low Voltage Project Manager, you will lead our project execution teams. You may manage large, small and/or multiple federal, state, local and commercial construction projects and will serve as the primary point of contact with customers' contract and management personnel, subcontractors, vendors and customers' representatives. You will assist in formulation and enforcement of work standards, assignments, schedules and review of contract deliverables.The Low Voltage Project Manager will participate in proposal creation and estimating to determine timeframe, budget, schedule and procedures that will be used to accomplish the project, staffing requirements and resources in all phases of construction. Other important activities include, but are not limited to, establishing work and staffing plans for each phase of a project in coordination with the project Superintendents and/or Low Voltage Foremen; coordinate and execute all documents required to obtain a project's permits; execute and log all change order requests and change order forms; execute and log subcontractor purchase orders/ change orders; coordinate and record submittals; prepare, revise and distribute CPM schedules; coordinate and execute all documents required for proper close-out at project's completion; and ensure timely RFI requests and responses.The Low Voltage Project Manager will direct and coordinate staff workloads, responsibilities and capabilities; encourage time management, organization and priorities of project staff . Additional responsibilities include proposal creation and estimating activities; risk management activities; financial management activities; and safety activities.QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LOW VOLTAGE PROJECT MANAGER
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent combination of skills or equivalent combination and experience generally expected for specified technical roles.
  • Eight (8) years' low voltage industry experience with three (3) years' supervisory experience in low voltage systems.
  • BICSI RCDD, preferred.
  • NICET certification, preferred.
  • Responsible for a single department or functional area either as a manager or functional expert.
  • Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in leading projects in the federal government marketplace that successfully deliver practical and innovative technical and training solutions to challenging clients.
  • Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency specific regulations, including the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR).
  • Experience in managing projects with employees in multiple locations nationwide.
  • Experience in implementing Quality Control Plans.
  • Individual must be either a citizen of the U.S. or a non-U.S. citizen who has been lawfully admitted for permanent residence as evidenced by a Permanent Resident Card (USCIS I-551).
