
Material Handler

- Process daily receiving of deliveries against vendor Purchase Orders (raw material), and forward items needing inspection to the Quality department.
- Label and put away inventory in orderly manner.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting processes including proper counting, processing of material reports and transfers.
- Enter inventory adjustments to ensure systems match actual inventory counts.
- Research and report inventory discrepancies.
- Processes daily receiving of deliveries against Purchase Orders (raw material and operating supplies), and forward items needing inspected to inspection department.
- Kit the material for upcoming jobs, issue material, and print production travelers.
- Issue material and process WIP to Finished Goods transactions of all Machine Shop and subcontract jobs.
- Perform the processes required to maintain VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory).
- Process Finished Goods receipts daily from production by prepacking and staging when possible.
- Morning reconciliation of previous day’s WIP to FG transactions, pack lists and travelers.
- Pulls FG parts required to fulfill the day’s shipments, always filling from oldest stock to newest, with special attention to lot/date cores and serial number accuracy.
- Research inventory and shipping discrepancies to resolve shipping issues and work to prevent shipping errors.
- Work with customer shipping portals for ASN and label creation.
- Be a reliable employee that can work independently.

- GED or High School diploma preferred, but not required.
- Two to three years related to experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Be able to read and follow procedures.
- Be productive working in a repetitive job.
- Maintain a working knowledge of quality practices.
- Has efficient computer skills and have the aptitude and desire to expand these skills.
- The position is in the Stockroom area and could involve standing for long periods of time, but not limited to sitting, walking, and lifting, up to 50 pounds, throughout the day.
- Must be able to work hours to meet all company daily shipments.
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures, depending upon the situation.
- Must be able to use pallet jack to maneuver and wrap skids for shipping of larger products.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
